An excursion into Senegalese culture

Our excursion takes you to the port of Mbour, the second largest in the country after Dakar and the beating heart of the Petite Côte. The nearby markets are bursting with life, filled with fruits, spices, and colorful fabrics, in an atmosphere that is both chaotic and welcoming. This visit is also an immersion into Senegalese culture, where fish holds a central place as the cornerstone of famous dishes such as Thiéboudienne, Yassa, and grilled fish with lemon. You’ll discover how the fishermen, true artisans of the sea, continue to preserve their ancestral know-how despite the challenges of modern times.
